I encountered a couple of hiccups. The overflow from the bath leaked onto the floor, requiring a towel to catch the drips, and tuning in the freesat TV proved frustrating at first. Though Netflix worked fine, it was a bit of a hassle. The mattress felt slightly firm, which affected my sleep quality, and the price seemed high for a stay in January, feeling more suited to peak season rates.

An lovely stay awaits here! Enjoy a clean, spacious room with a free-standing bath that adds a touch of luxury. Delight in complimentary soft drinks and snacks. The location is a mere ten-minute stroll from the heart of town. I can't wait to return for a longer visit!

Lovely home feel in a family-run hotel.

The mattress in our room was hard and uneven, made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. We could hear noises from adjacent rooms, despite the soundproofing claims. Unfortunately, the view from the balcony was not as expected, leading us to not utilize it .

Couple getaway worth considering

The location is pretty great, we parked the car for free and walked to the town. Gill, she was very helpful when I messaged her before arriving, and the unexpected little goodies in the room like porridge and soda.

It wasn't the cheapest option, but you know what, it was still worth it.
